-+- Disclaimer -+-
You use this product at your own risk. If anything what so ever goes wrong
then it was your fault for using this program. However saying that I've
had no troubles with it and you probably won't either.
-+- Distribution -+-
This program is freeware, feel free to distribute it any thing which is
not commercial, e.g. Magazine (compact) disks and Aminet CDs are fine.
-+- Requirements -+-
* A 2.0+ Amiga (I think). It was tested on an A500 and didn't work, but
works fine on an A1200 and therefore should work on an A600 as no AGA
functions are used.
* Diamond font, the game will run fine without it but the text won't be
laid out very well in places. I really hate games which don't even tell
you why they've bombed on you especially if its just a lack of the right
font. The Diamond 12 font is used for the non-square version and the
Diamond 20 font is used for the square version.
-+- What is it? -+-
This is a bomber clone designed to run in a workbench window. It uses very
little CPU time (hardly registered on Dash Board) and a little memory.
There are two versions one for screens which use square pixels (e.g a Hires
interlace screen) and one for screens with rectangle pixels (where the
height is twice the width e.g. a Hires screen).
Its a nice quick thing to play while trying to connect to a BBS or waiting
for a program to compile and so on.
-+- Instructions -+-
Just click the mouse to drop a bomb on a building. You can destroy two
levels of two different buildings of the same height next to each other.
To pause the game just click out of the window screen.
To return to the main screen press escape while the window is active.
You can configure the game with the menus. The speed that the plane
declines, the speed of the bombs and the level you start on can all be
changed. There are 16 levels in all, but you can play randomly drawn levels
if you require.
-+- Bugs -+-
* If you don't have the diamond font text will be badly set out.
* Menus are very badly set out if the screen font you use is too large.
The menus still work though, its just you wont be able to see the
menu titles properly.
* If you select and option twice it will appear as though nothing has been
selected. A tiny bug, which I really don't have the patience to fix.
-+- History -+-
* 3/3/97. First release. Last release?
* 12/4/97. Fixed the bug which now allows you to actually complete the
game. There are 16 levels.
-+- Future -+-
Fix the menu problem encountered when large screen fonts are used.
Sounds are unlikely because I believe such Workbench games shouldn't have
data files and their program size shouldn't be too large either.
-+- Final Words -+-
I hope this game provides a smidgen of fun for you and that you don't
delete it after the first time you play it.
Thanks to Mark and Anthoney for testing it.
Programmed in Blitz Basic 2.
Bye.
